Dear Logan County Officials,
I am writing to express my wholehearted endorsement of the Grange Solar project in Logan County. The economic benefits it promises are pivotal for our community. With the creation of hundreds of construction jobs, 70-80% designated for Ohio workers, and an estimated total wage of tens of millions of dollars, Grange Solar will significantly contribute to local employment and economic growth.
Furthermore, Grange Solar's dedication to preserving farmland and minimizing habitat displacement underscores its commitment to responsible development practices. I urge you to support Grange Solar and help us build a brighter, more sustainable future for Logan County.
Grange will provide many times the more tax revenue compared to current agricultural land use. This substantial financial boost, totaling over $100 million over the 40-year project life, will have a positive ripple effect on county taxing jurisdictions and the Indian Lake School District.
The dual solar-agricultural land use, featuring sheep grazing, showcases Grange's innovative approach to preserving agricultural land and creating jobs for local sheep farmers.
Thank you for your support of Grange Solar.
